Liz Almeida is an accomplished human resources executive with over 20 years of experience in leading engagement strategies and people initiative for global organizations. As the Chief Human Resources (HR) Officer of Panasonic Corporation of North America, Liz is responsible for leading the Company’s HR technology approach, total rewards offerings, talent branding efforts, recruitment initiatives, and retention strategies.Liz joined Panasonic in 2019 as Director of Human Resources before being promoted to Vice President HR Operations, and Chief Human Resources Officer shortly thereafter. Before joining Panasonic, Liz was the Director of Global Human Resources Business Partner at NICE, where she was pivotal in supporting and advising executive and functional leadership in implementing high-value HR programs and mergers & acquisitions. Before that, she held various leadership positions at Pearson, specializing in organizational development, change management, workforce planning, and analytics.Liz’s expertise ranges from people planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, to strategic human capital management. She has a proven record of accomplishment of aligning HR goals with overall business objectives. Liz’s people-first approach to leadership has garnered recognition for her ability to drive change while maintaining a workplace culture of trust and transparency.Outside of Panasonic, Liz is an active board member of Braven Newark whose mission is to help ensure Newark’s young people have access to a more prosperous, equitable future. In her free time, Liz enjoys going into nature to explore and hike with her family.Liz earned her Bachelor of Arts in Labor Relations from Rutgers University.
