Heather Yurko (she/her) has been building people and organizations throughout her career, in multiple industries including Finance, Tech, and Arts + Entertainment.  She loves being T-shaped, and has led teams in the Future of Work, Organizational Development, Talent Management + Acquisition, Service Management, Training Design, Entrepreneurship, Agile Software Development, Manufacturing, Program Management, Sales, Marketing, and Communications.  Heather built two start-up companies (one creating and showcasing designer toys, one creating financial modeling software) in addition to working in large, global enterprises like Mastercard, Facebook, Cisco, Dun + Bradstreet, and Lucent Technologies.She and her teams have won multiple industry awards over the years from Pega, Oracle, Gartner, the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) and ERE. She has been a featured speaker at multiple conferences, including Cisco Live, Gloat Live, and the Hawaiian International Conference on Systems Sciences.  She has published white papers on Service Management Organizational Design and Transitioning to Agile Development, and the book “The Future of Work: How Artificial Intelligence Can Augment Human Capabilities”.Heather holds an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University-Teachers College, and is currently the Vice President of Digital Talent at Mastercard. As the Product Owner for their Talent Marketplace, Unlocked, she enjoys working at the intersection of people, process, data and technology every day.Mastercard is a global technology company in the payments industry with 35,000 employees.
