Jon Couture is executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO) of Principal Financial Group®. He oversees all aspects of human resources for more than 18,500 employees worldwide, and is also responsible for Principal’s service operations in India and the Philippines.Couture joined Principal in 2018 and has more than 25 years of experience in human resources. Previously, he was the executive vice president–human resources for consumer lending, payments, virtual channels, operations, and innovation at Wells Fargo. Prior to Wells Fargo, Couture was senior executive vice president of human resources for HSBC North America Holdings, Inc.
