Alexandra Eichberger is a HR leader currently serving as Head of People & Culture at Erste Digital since July 2023. She oversees all people-related topics across locations in Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic for the IT heart of Erste Group, which employs over 2,000 IT experts. In her role, she is dedicated to enable a Learning Culture that ensures growth and attracts and retains tech talents for the digital future of Banking.
Starting in September 2025, Alexandra will transition to a new role as Head of Group People Development & Culture at Erste Group, where she will take over ownership for Learning & Development, Leadership, and Culture & Diversity for the entire organization.
Prior to her current position, she held various HR functions at Deutsche Telekom (Cluster Lead Employer of Choice), Magenta Telekom (Vice President Change & HR Excellence), and A1 Telekom Austria (Head of Change Implementation). In her various roles, she has worked both nationally and internationally and has gained experience in local units as well as in headquarters: At Magenta Telekom, she played a crucial role in the people integration process during the merger of T-Mobile and UPC Austria, while she was shaping the international Employer Branding Strategy at Deutsche Telekom for Tech Talents.
