Dr. Diana Westrich is Vice President of Corporate HR Leadership & Development at BASF. She began her career with a journalistic traineeship before pursuing law studies at the University of Heidelberg. She later earned her doctorate in law with a thesis on Compliance from the University of Leipzig.
Before joining BASF in 2011, Dr. Westrich practiced as an attorney specializing in employment and labor law. At BASF, she has held several leadership roles within Corporate Human Resources, including Head of Legal & Pensions and Senior Staff to the President of Global HR. Since 2021, she has led the Corporate HR Leadership & Development division, shaping strategic HR initiatives across the company.
