Alejandra has more than 20 years of management level experience in Human Resources at major international retail companies. She joined IKEA in 2011 in Spain as Human Resources Manager and has consistently focused on her passion: making IKEA a great place to work by developing people, succession for the many, coaching for performance and value-based recruitment. The IKEA journey took her to Austria, China, Sweden and now Netherlands. Prior to joining IKEA, she worked at companies like Stage Entertainment Holding, Siemens and Swarovski in various roles in Marketing, Corporate Communications and Human Resources.
Goal oriented with strong influence, impact, resilience, and leadership skills she takes a humanistic approach to business and people. Alejandra holds a Bachelor Degree in Philology from Barcelona University, a Master Degree (Cum Laude) in Humanities from University of Amsterdam. She has also done postgraduate studies in Business Administration and Talent Management. She holds a European Coaching Certificate and is fluent in five languages.
