Kirsten Hunter Peterson is Vice President, Workplace Thought Leadership, for Fidelity Investments, a leader in workplace benefits and financial services. In her current role, she studies employer, employee, and policy trends impacting workplace benefits, and develops points of view on new and emerging benefits that address the needs of today’s workforce. Ms. Hunter Peterson joined Fidelity in 2017 as Director, Public Policy, where she was responsible for developing positions on an array of retirement savings and healthcare products, while working with policymakers to achieve public policy priorities for the firm and its customers. Prior to joining Fidelity, Ms. Hunter Peterson worked for the Washington lobbying firm, Peck Madigan Jones, where she covered financial services, healthcare, education, and energy policy. Ms. Hunter Peterson earned a Master of Government from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from High Point University.
