Kerry Olin

Kerry Olin is Corporate Vice President, Human Resources at Microsoft, recently assuming leadership responsibility for several Microsoft enterprise HR initiatives. From 2015 to 2022, Kerry was Corporate Vice President for Microsoft’s HR Services organization.  In this role, he was responsible for HR services and employee experiences, including employee self-service, assisted support and HR consultation, operational services supporting the employee life cycle, professional services such as privacy, risk and compliance, and enterprise HR systems. 

Previously, Kerry led the HR function for the Applications and Services Group, at the time Microsoft’s largest product development unit, spanning Office 365, Bing search and Teams.  He also led Microsoft’s University and Central Talent Acquisition function, responsible for competing for the best technical talent globally. 

Kerry began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he spent 19 years in roles of increasing responsibility in Marketing and Human Resources.  He then served as a managing director at an intellectual property consulting firm prior to joining Microsoft. 

Kerry has held several board positions with regional and national non-profit organizations.  He splits his time between Bellevue, Washington, near Microsoft’s headquarters, and Dallas, Texas, where he resides with his with, Kathy.  He is a graduate of Michigan State University.
