Over the past 20 years, Steve has traveled the globe (29 countries) on his mission to help businesses improve the way they manage their frontline workforce. He is one of the leading experts in workforce management – which includes AI-powered optimization, time & attendance, employee engagement, and task management. Steve has worked in a range of sectors including hospitality, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail – where he worked with the globes’ largest retailers to help them save time, money, engage and retain their frontline workers. During his time in South Africa, Steve lobbied and negotiated fair scheduling policies between the country’s largest retailers and union leadership. By introducing new scheduling technologies, his efforts led to the country’s first set of scheduling labor regulations including minimum & maximum working hours, days, shifts, and time between shifts. With over two decades of leadership experience, Steve has held leadership positions at UKG (Kronos), SAP, and founded two workforce management companies: optimized scheduling (Simplified), task (thinktime.com), and is an advisor at www.avoiceai.com in the Voice AI space. Steve currently leads the sales engineering teams at www.quinyx.com.
