David has broad employment litigation and labor experience, handling federal and state cases involving discrimination (sex, race, national origin, age, disability), harassment, pay equity, contract disputes, wrongful discharge, and failure to accommodate claims. He manages administrative agency investigations, including systemic, pattern and practice, and disparate impact matters related to pay, hiring, testing, background checks, promotions, and accommodations. He also litigates labor arbitrations, runs election campaigns, negotiates collective bargaining agreements, and appears before the NLRB. David uses his litigation background to improve matter management, promote best practice sharing, and stay current on legal developments. An early adopter of Lean Six Sigma, he applies process discipline to enhance value for clients. He has guided clients through restructurings, workforce reductions, leave and accommodation process improvements, large pay equity and classification reviews, and employee engagement and hiring assessments, and he frequently delivers management and compliance training.
