Kunal Sethi is an innovative and forward-thinking HR leader with over 20 years of global experience in technology strategy, digital transformation, and service delivery.
He currently serves as the Head of HR Digital Strategy & Transformation at Medtronic, where he leads the development and execution of the company's HR technology, AI, and analytics road-map. At Medtronic, Kunal oversees the entire HR technology and data landscape, driving the adoption of digital tools that enhance business value and elevate the employee experience. His leadership is central to enabling a future-ready digital first HR function powered by AI, intelligent automation, real-time insights, and personalized user experiences.
Prior to joining Medtronic, Kunal held several senior leadership roles across leading global organizations. At PayPal, he was the Global Head of Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Intelligence, Employee Listening, Data Analytics/AI, and Contingent Worker Services. There, he spearheaded HR strategy that empowered Centers of Excellence through cutting-edge technology and integrated workforce analytics. Earlier in his career, Kunal served as Managing Director and Head of Client Engagement, Data, and Analytics at J.P. Morgan Chase, where he delivered enterprise-wide data science and machine learning solutions for HR and workforce programs. He also led HR service delivery and transformation initiatives at Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and technology and consulting roles at Oracle. Kunal holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science and is widely recognized for his accomplishments in to building enterprise strategy, scaling COEs and bridging the gap between technology and human capital strategy, delivering global programs that drive organizational agility and performance.
