Charles Rue is a Global Head of Recruitment, leading an international team of specialist recruiters responsible for Permanent and Campus hires across S&P Global Ratings, Technology functions, and Sustainable1, S&P Global’s new single source of sustainability and ESG intelligence.
Charles is also overseeing recruitment for Kensho, the AI and Innovation Hub for S&P Global and is an AI Workforce Lead leading the enterprise-wide Artificial Intelligence Talent Attraction & Sourcing workstream. Charles is based in London.
Before relocating back to Europe, Charles spent 15 years in Asia, including 8 years in Tokyo at Japan’s largest executive search firm as Financial Services practice head, followed by 6 years in Hong Kong where he oversaw recruitment for HSBC’s asset management, retail, corporate, and digital banking businesses as Recruitment Director.
Charles started his career in management consulting in Europe, specializing in Business Process Reengineering with a focus on pre and post-merger/acquisition integration.
