Erin Dangerfield

Erin Dangerfield is entering her seventh season with the Warriors, third as senior vice president, people and culture. Dangerfield brings over 20 years of human resources experience to the role and has worked in a variety of fields including wholesale distribution, real estate, agriculture, non-profit, and now sports and entertainment.

In her current role, Dangerfield oversees the company’s talent acquisition, diversity, equity and inclusion, employee experience, labor relations, internal communications, workplace experience, and human resources operations for the approximately 3,800 full-time and part-time employees working across business, arena, and basketball operations.

Prior to joining the Warriors, Dangerfield worked at ALCAL Industries, Inc., overseeing the human resources, information technology and business operations functions of the company and managing cross-functional projects, including the opening of a new regional distribution center. Previously she worked for Bently Enterprises where she led the human resources, information technology, marketing, security and design teams across three business units, through acquisition and a period of rapid growth.

Dangerfield earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in economics from UNLV, where she ran track as a scholarship athlete. A native of Oakland, California, and a lifelong Warriors fan, Dangerfield has a passion for the Oakland community. She serves as vice chair of the board of the East Oakland Youth Development Center, where she participated in the Center’s programs as a youth and first worked there as a Youth Leader in their Summer Cultural Enrichment Program.
