Linking business and people strategy, supporting the last with the right competencies; helping people to develop their full potential; creating a life-long learning strategy; change management; focusing the organization on a socially responsible purpose, have all been Roberto’s priorities in his 30+ years of experience acquired in multiple sectors and countries. Roberto begins his career at Valeo in 1991, and then moved to Olivetti Lexikon in 1999. After assignments in Italy and France, in 2000 he joined Colgate Palmolive, where he continued his international career (Italy, UK, USA). In 2007 he was hired by Johnson & Johnson as HR Vice-President of Pharmaceutical EMEA. In 2016 Roberto joined Banco Santander as CHRO, with the role to foster transformation that put ‘People’ at the center. Since December 2021, Roberto has been the Chief Human Resources Officer and a Member of the Executive Committee at Danone, one of the most reputable and purposeful company in the world.
