Rick Jost is Sr. Vice President of Human Resources for MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM), an S&P 500® global entertainment company featuring iconic hotels and casinos, meeting and conference spaces, live and theatrical entertainment experiences and an array of restaurant, nightlife and retail offerings across the globe.
As head of HR, Jost oversees business partner operations, employee relations, HR shared services, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition and talent management. His role spans a workforce of 60,000 employees domestically and a team of approximately 300 HR professionals. Jost collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer, senior leadership and HR leaders to define and deliver HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s operational needs to attract, retain and grow talent.
An executive with more than 25 years of experience, Jost previously served as Vice President of Human Resources for MGM’s corporate divisions. In this role, he partnered with members of the Executive Committee and other senior leaders to achieve business objectives through employee engagement, talent management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. He led a team of HR business partners who championed and drove the Company’s culture, strategic
objectives, operating model, service culture ethos, and leadership expectations throughout the corporate division.
