Dr. Chanelle Reynolds

Chanelle S. Reynolds is an NFL professional, 2X author, and international speaker. After starting her career with the Philadelphia 76ers’ NBA G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, Chanelle came to Washington, DC in 2018 to launch the Group Sales Department for Washington’s NFL team. During the social unrest following the public murder of George Floyd, Chanelle and several key colleagues created the Washington Commanders Black Engagement Network—the team's first Employee Resource Group. Leadership leaned on Chanelle to help navigate difficult conversations and create a space for Black employees during a crucial moment in history. In 2021, the team officially asked Chanelle to lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts full-time.

In addition to her work with the Commanders, Chanelle is the 2X author of The Success Playbook and The Art of Taking L’s, both available on Amazon. She is also a 2X TEDx speaker, with her most recent TED Talk delivered at the University of South Africa in Johannesburg. Chanelle also hosts The Success Playbook Podcast on the REVOLT Podcast Network.

A proud HBCU graduate of Delaware State University, she in June 2025 she recently furthered her educations by earning her doctorate degree in Business Administration where she researched strategies in the NFL to recruit, retain, and develop women employees and how it can generate positive business outcomes for each team.

Chanelle expanded her platform to further advocate for representation in sports when she was crowned Ms. Black District of Columbia 2026. She will compete for Ms. Black USA in August.
