Vizzy: Levelling the playing field to align talent with opportunities

UK startup Vizzy, a talent platform aimed at disrupting the traditional CV, was crowned winner of the UNLEASH World 2025 Startup Award.

Vizzy is on a mission to transform the CV with an inclusive, human-first and engagement-driven approach, allowing candidates to build personalized digital profiles reflecting their potential, interests and ambitions.

The startup raised £3.65 million in seed funding in April last year and counts Burberry, Virgin Group and Louis Vuitton among its clients.

In the aftermath of its victory, UNLEASH spoke to CEO and Co-Founder, Chris Woodward-Jones, to find out what makes the startup’s proposition special, how it’s trying to change the world and what his key message for HR leaders was.

“Our entire platform is built on people. In a world of AI, we think it’s important to remain human,” Woodward-Jones told UNLEASH.

“The content, the processes, all the magic comes from our users, and that’s quite a unique proposition in today’s market.”
