As every company and every function grapples with questions on how AI is changing the nature of work the need to both forecast what those potential changes are, and then model out both how, when and at what costs those changes impact the workforce has never been more important. This has given rise to a growing demand, driven by the business, for Operational and Strategic Workforce Planning. The need for core HCM systems to cull data from HR, Finance, Operations, Procurement and External Data sources and provide tools to model this is one of the fastest growing areas of HRIT.
