As the world stands at a labor market tipping point, employers need to be able to identify and efficiently hire qualified, quality candidates to overcome the workforce shortage.
Workforce shortages are being seen for both temporary and permanent positions, suggesting a lagging recovery from the pandemic coupled with a revised mental model for many job applicants of where and how they want to work.
According to Market Watch, US businesses have a record 8.1 million jobs to fill. The problem, they say, is getting enough people to fill them.
There is no silver bullet for solving the issue of low candidate flow, and this issue is not likely to resolve itself in the long term.
