The pandemic showcased the ability of businesses to work with globally dispersed teams, and the need for new talent pools as traditional streams dried up amid the ‘Great Resignation‘.
This has prompted investment in global hires, but there are still issues that organizations frequently encounter. Business administration service provider Globalization Partners, who specialize in multi-national management, have now unveiled a new tool to help companies on their global conquests.
The tool, which is called G-P Recruit, intends to make it fast and easy for companies to hire anyone anywhere quickly and without the need for foreign subsidies. This is all done within G-P Recruit’s global employment platform.
How G-P Recruit works
The tool will enable organizations to automatically match customers with recommended recruiting agencies by using data and preferences on hiring location, industry sector, functional area, and role.
Additionally, through integration with Globalization Partners’ wider technology platform, organizations can create job orders, see who matches the set criteria, and track progress on candidate sourcing.
Perhaps the most valuable feature of the hiring tool is the ability to remove the stresses of global compliance. The likes of identification, onboarding, individual management can all be done in the single platform, rather than through various methods and providers.
Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., president and CEO at SHRM, expressed his excitement for G-P Recruit: “The war for talent is real and is affecting businesses everywhere, and that means companies need new ways to find the team members they need.
“Additionally, working on global teams has great benefits for employees too since they are more likely to have a much deeper cultural understanding. This contributes to improving the employees’ ability to appreciate and value other points of view, leading to successful business interactions.”
Mark Hedley, vice president of talent recruiting at Globalization Partners, added: “A lack of recruiting resources can severely hinder a company’s ability to execute on their talent strategy, and many rapidly expanding companies do not have the expertise or resources to find and hire global talent.
“Great talent is everywhere, and Globalization Partners is leveraging this reality by providing our customers with access to thousands of recruiters who can identify and access specialized talent in key markets around the globe, giving our customers a competitive advantage on a global scale.”
The tool will be rolled out in January 2022 in the following countries Canada, UK, Australia, Singapore, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, UAE, and Hong Kong.
Following this, new markets will be added throughout the rest of 2022.
