Successfully navigating the future of work will require employers to have access to up-to-date, real-time data and analytics about their workforce and its desires.
In this context, Netherlands-based people analytics company Crunchr is expanding its predictive analytics capabilities as the result of new Series B funding from Software-as-a-Service specialist investor Oxx. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
This investment comes on the back of a very successful year for Crunchr – it achieved 130% net revenue retention in 2021. Crunchr has previously received funding from Randstad – which is also one of its clients – and Nationale-Nederlanden.
Talking about the investment, Bob Thomas, principal at Oxx, noted: “We spoke with people analytics professionals across the globe and one theme emerged very clearly: Crunchr’s ease of use means that the people story within a business can be told quickly, clearly and in a data-rich way.
“In 2022, the people data questions faced by enterprises are more pressing than ever, and so we are thrilled to partner with Dirk Jonker, (CEO and founder) and the team, and look forward to many more businesses unlocking the value of their people data with Crunchr.”
The future for Crunchr
Crunchr hopes this influx of cash will enable it to help its clients, which currently include MetLife, Rabobank, Grandvision, and AkzoNobel, to achieve even better at employee retention, skill-based future planning, and data-driven storytelling. All of this will help them survive and thrive in the ‘Great Resignation‘.
In addition, Crunchr wants to use the money from Oxx to fuel its international expansion – it wants to open up officers in the US – as well as treble the size of its team from 40 to 120.
Jonker concluded: “Most organizations have HR systems, but they struggle to translate all their data into insights. Without clear insights, accurate decision making is at risk, and achieving your business objectives can be difficult.”
“But, with an easy-to-use workforce reporting and analytics solution, Crunchr gets the basics right.
“Supporting workforce decisions with relevant insights by combining expertise, data, and analytics, it allows HR teams to embrace the power of people analytics, and empowers all of a company’s employees to make data-driven decisions in seconds.”
