HR tech giant Greenhouse has announced the appointment of Sharawn Tipton as its new Chief People Officer.
In the role, Tipton will identify new opportunities where Greenhouse's people strategy can accelerate the organization and strengthen the employee experience as the company continues to grow.
Tiption joins Greenhouse from data collaboration platform provider LiveRamp, where she held the role of Chief People and Culture Officer.
Speaking exclusively to UNLEASH, Tipton says “I’m thrilled to join Greenhouse as Chief People Officer at such a pivotal moment in the company's growth.
“What excites me most is the opportunity to work with a global team that's expanding across different regions – including EMEA and APAC – each with its own unique strengths and perspectives.
Commenting on Tipton’s appointment, Greenhouse CEO and Co-Founder Daniel Chait said getting the organization’s leadership team right is “mission-critical”
In addition to senior roles with companies such as LiveRamp, Micron Technologies, Flex, Gensler and Flextronics, Tipton has served on several nonprofit boards focused on advancing workplace and educational equity, including Fair Pay Workplace, College Track Oakland, and the Business Insider Workforce Innovation Board.
“Great cultures aren’t about uniformity; they are about aligning around shared values and purpose while allowing global teams to thrive in ways that reflect their unique environments”, Tipton tells UNLEASH.
