Hiring platform, Greenhouse, has named Paaras Parker as Chief People Officer.
Parker plans to learn the business before creating momentum within the company's already engaged employee base.

With more than 15 years of HR leadership, Paaras Parker has been named the new Chief People Officer for the hiring platform, Greenhouse.
By taking the role, Parker will lead in shaping Greenhouse’s culture, while ensuring employees feel valued, supported, and connected, and supporting the company’s overall goal of improving hiring.
Speaking exclusively to UNLEASH, Parker says: “Greenhouse is already doing so much right, and I’m excited to build on that by deepening connection across our remote-first team, championing inclusive leadership, and aligning people strategy with business performance.
“That starts with listening and getting to know the team, understanding what makes this culture thrive, and identifying the moments that matter most to employees.”
Strengthening Greenhouse’s culture
Parker, who has previously held roles at retail and technology enterprises, such as Kroger and Macy’s, will bring a wealth of experience to Greenhouse, including her knowledge of growing high-performing people teams, fostering strong workplace culture, and navigating the workplace landscape.
In a statement, Parker expresses she is “proud” of her career leading HR and people teams, which has enabled her to foster “strong workplace cultures” while “helping organizations thrive through their people.”
Through taking the role at Greenhouse, Parker aims to shape an “inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team” in the remote-first environment.

“It’s a dream to continue my professional leadership with Greenhouse, and I’m excited to be a part of the People Team and help Greenhouse grow.”
Parker plans to hit the ground running with her new role, as she is focused on learning the business and understanding the people who bring Greenhouse to life for its customers.
