Leading HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions provider, UKG, has appointed Beth Conway as the company’s Chief People Officer (CPO).
Conway, who will report to the company’s CEO, Jennifer Morgan, will play a crucial role in facilitating UKG’s growth and global expansion of the company.
In doing so, she will focus on driving operational excellence across HR, spanning talent acquisition, total rewards, people operations, employee relations, and HCM technology.
After spending more than 25 years in the HR sector, Conway has focused on fostering “people-centric organizational cultures,” while leading transformational HR technology initiatives.
Speaking exclusively to UNLEASH, Conway shares: “UKG is renowned for providing world-class HCM solutions and unique workplace insights that lead to better outcomes for workers, their organizations, and the customers they serve.
Prior to this role, Conway held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief People & Places Officer at Nuance Communications, where she led the team through a hypergrowth phase before it was acquired by Microsoft for nearly $20 billion.
In a statement, CEO Morgan described Conway as a “phenomenal addition to the UKG leadership team” due to her experience leading global teams through transformative growth and her ability to align “human resources practices with business goals.”
She added: “Beth’s passion for people will help UKG reach the next level by ensuring our human resource strategies and systems are agile, resilient, and supportive to the needs of both our employees and our customers around the world.”
