Maureen’s career has been devoted to harnessing the power of technology to improve people’s lives—driving innovation with humanity. Maureen’s mantra is “tech for good,” and she has positioned People Tech to become the maker of great enterprise experiences, with a focus on people, culture and innovation. Maureen recently expanded her role at Capital One, becoming Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) while also serving as Divisional Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Managing Vice President of People Tech.
Maureen’s expertise is in tech transformations, enterprise cloud migration, and innovative employee experiences. Maureen holds several patents and serves as a dynamic change agent and advisor, helping to lead strategy, recruiting and culture initiatives across the company.
Maureen is an inspiring, authentic, and motivational leader who is focused on associate experience and tech engagement. She is heavily involved in Capital One’s Business Resource Groups (BRGs). She’s an advisory board member of the VOICES BRG, is an active member of empowher BRG, Women in Tech (WIT),
Hispanics in Tech (HIT), and recently served as the Accountable Executive for Blacks in Tech (BIT) for 2+ years. Maureen is actively engaged in our communities and has held leadership roles with Year Up, Girls For A Change, and Girls Who Code.
